New York City subway trains are dumped into the ocean when they are done with them.

You might have seen this

But did you ever think of where these subway cars go when they die? A scrapyard right? Well, not exactly. They have actually gone to Delaware into Redbird Reef.

That is where numerous NYC subway cars have been dropped into the ocean to form new habitat for a growing variety of sea life.

Man himself has led to many coral reefs being damaged or destroyed and now we are doing something about it. It truly represents the idea that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure (or another fishes).

I will add to the story as I find new data so check back, comment or email us with any questions, info or concerns.

Ooh what a thing it is

So here we are for the first time with an amazingly simple and affordable way to avoid harsh chemicals and get a huge bang for your buck. (I’m talking not buying a new kitchen sink kind of bang!) So what do you think of when you hear “Hydrogen Peroxide”? Ooh what a thing it is. Yeah it’s great for a scraped knee, but you need to be using it around your house.

Hydrogen Peroxide is a cheap miracle machine. You can use it to get rid of discoloration on porcelain and enamel sinks. It dissolves all kinds of mineral and germy build ups all over the house. Use it as an alternative to CLR on showers with no chemicals.

You don’t have to believe me, but I can say for sure, you should pick up a bottle (or a case) of Hydrogen Peroxide and try it out for yourself. And don’t even get me started on Baking Soda.
